So, as we were leaving the Minneapolis campground this morning, we drove by the Monaco Vesta and I took a some pictures. Isn't it cool??? I have literally never been so excited to see a motorhome in person. You would have thought it was vintage or something.
After I finished drooling over the Vesta, we drove through a bit of Minneapolis traffic, but it wasn’t too long before we were in Wisconsin and heading into Illinois. Not long after entering Illinois, we arrived at our friends' house on the Fox River. The total day’s drive was around 6 hours, and we were able to park there for the night in their driveway. The kids were really excited to be able to do some jet skiing on the river before dinner. After a few hours of fun on the water, some other friends arrived and we drove to a nearby roadhouse restaurant for some local beer and good food. We had a blast at dinner, catching up with some great people we don’t get to see very often. After dinner, we headed back to the house, said our goodbyes, and settled into the RV for our last night away. Tomorrow night we'll be sleeping in our own beds!
